Directions

From the South - Head North on the A82 towards Crianlarich. From the Stoneymollen round about at Balloch continue North and follow signs for Luss. Take the turning onto the old A82, and continue heading North. The road closely follows the banks of Loch Lomond which should be visible on your right hand side. Follow the road for 2 miles passing through the hamlets of Bandry and Aldochlay. Continue past Camstraddan House set back from the road on your right, approximately 200 metres further on there is a small cluster of houses on the left. Hawthorn Cottage is south facing and set back behind the property on the roadside.

From the North - Head South on the A82 towards Glasgow. From Tarbet continue South for 8 miles passing Inverbeg following signs for Luss. Turn off the A82 into Luss. Follow the road past the car park and the village shop. Conintue past the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel on the right (currently being refurbished). Follow the road over the hump back bridge. The highland games field is on the left and opposite that is Hawthorn Cottage is south facing and set back behind the property on the roadside.
