REFERENCING FEE

DEPOSIT AND RENT
Rent is to be paid monthly in advance by a standing order and we shall require a completed mandate to this effect once the landlord has approved the tenancy.
Where the agreement is an assured shorthold tenancy, a deposit equal to two months' rent shall be retained in the agent's clients' account at the commencement of the tenancy to ensure tenant's obligations under this agreement are fulfilled. If the rent is on a room only basis then one month's rent is required as a deposit. The first month's rent and deposit will be required in the form of a banker's draft, building society cheque or cash. Regrettably we are unable to accept personal cheques, credit or debit cards.
