Situation

Trotton with Chithurst is a civil parish in the Chichester district of West Sussex. Trotton lies 2.5 miles west of Midhurst. The village of Trotton is home to St. George's Church, an Anglican church dating to around 1230. The River Rother crosses the A272 at a bridge near the church.

The market town of Midhurst is within easy reach, and offers a choice of restaurants and shops. Each year the town hosts the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup which is a major polo competition. This is held on the estate of Lord Cowdray, with the final played outside the Ruins. Other recreational activities include golf at a number of local golf courses, racing and flying at Goodwood, which is within 20 minutes drive away, and sailing at Chichester Harbour, whilst the surrounding countryside offers ample scope for walking and riding.

For a more extensive range of shops and restaurants, the nearby towns of Haslemere and Petersfield are also a short drive away.

This also houses the water borehole pump.

The gardens sweep around the main house, and back onto land owned by Hillier tree specialists. The outdoor swimming pool, with electrically deployed safety cover, is tucked away in a secluded position which is the perfect sun trap and spot for the barbeque.
