Newport is situated at the gateway between England and Wales. The Welsh city stands on the banks of the River Usk and is steeped in rich industry heritage dating back to the nineteenth century. What once was a small seaport town has successfully established itself as a post-industrial centre for modern industry and commerce.
Newport can be accessed via the M4 motorway and by using the Great Western main railway line to Newport railway station. The nearest airport for both domestic and international flights is Cardiff Airport 30 miles away.
