Product Development

Our Product Development department is essentially several cross functional teams made up of Design, Product and Engineering. These teams have ownership for parts of the Rightmove experience. These teams collaborate to define solutions to business problems and highlight areas for growth. We are passionate about teams being involved from the very beginning. This means everything from working on product discovery, the systems design, and user interactions, right through to delivery (lots of coding!) with continued support and product evolution.

We have a set of specialists working alongside our teams on a variety of problems. This could be providing data analysis, research and insights, helping uncover the next big problem or working on more complex technical and business challenges. Underpinning all of this we have teams focused on infrastructure, support and tooling. Who, as well as working with the teams directly, focus on the continued health and reliability of our platforms. Enabling teams to deliver the best solutions for our audience as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Customer Experience

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, which means that we want to make things easy and right for them first time, every time. As we strive to continually make our customer’s journey with us something we’re proud of, specifically you will be responsible for the delivery of what good looks like today, with an eye on what great looks like tomorrow as customer needs evolve.

We support not only our direct customers (for example Estate Agents) but also any users of our website. You could work in an advisory role helping customers choose what’s right for them, a support role answering any questions or help to coordinate the various elements of the Rightmove experience.

Our sales teams are divided into different customer groups; Estate Agency, New Homes, Commercial and Overseas. We have both office, field and home-based roles. All our sales teams work in partnership with customers of varying sizes. We want to enable our customers to make the most of their brand and advertising opportunities helping them to decide what is best for their business by driving growth. It is our job to really understand their business and what they are trying to achieve by offering solutions that are right for them for the long term.

Depending on your skill set and experience, our roles can vary between prospecting and account management, so we have roles to suit a variety of sales professionals. At Rightmove we want every employee to feel part of the Rightmove team, this is especially important for our field and home-based colleagues. To help us keep connected, we have weekly team meetings, one to one coaching with your line manager, biannual conferences as well as regular socials.

Support Functions

Our support functions are responsible for ensuring that both Rightmove as a company and our people (Rightmovers) are doing the right thing and making Rightmove the best it can be.
Whether its keeping track of finances, ensuring Rightmove is a great place to work or marketing our latest breakthrough. Whatever your role, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate across teams and make an impact that keeps Rightmove as the UKs number one property portal.
