BRIGHT & BRIGHT is one of the oldest estate agencies in Kent, having been established over 100 years ago.

Roger Bright and his mother took over the established business of Frank Day & Co in 1952 and renamed the firm Bright & Bright. The history of Frank Day & Co can be traced back to just before the First World War with the firm moving to the present offices in Victoria Road in 1937. In the 1980s the business was sold to Mrs Pam Long. She then sold the business to Brian Thorpe who developed and expanded it further until 2012.

In April 2012, the business was taken over by the Colebrook family. Nigel Colebrook has over 50 years experience in estate agency and a very full and expansive knowledge of East Kent, its properties and the people who live and work here. Over the years he has dealt with some of the most important sales of individual, period and country properties (including The Salutation in Sandwich) in East Kent.

In April 2014 Nigel's daughter, Becky Lead, joined Bright & Bright and became a director.

The policy of the business is to provide a personal and professional service specialising in the sale of period homes, individual and country properties together with marine residences and cottages throughout the East Kent Area.
