Hunter French Estate Agents were formed in 2005 by Stephen Hunter and Karen Dumine both of whom had been working in corporate Estate Agency since 1996 and 1988 respectively.

With a real passion for people and property, we have been selling houses in cities, towns and villages across Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire since 2005 with strategically placed branches in Bath, Corsham, Devizes, Frome, Tetbury, Bruton, Wincanton and most recently Wooten Under Edge. Stephen Hunter in Bath, Karen Dumine in Bruton and Wincanton, Billy Olley in Frome, Sam Kidner in Tetbury, John Robinson in Devizes and Jacob Heatley - Adams & Daniel Jones in Corsham are committed to simplifying the process of buying and selling houses - ensuring a seamless experience across the business - traditional values, face to face in prime locations.

Hunter French Estate Agents were formed in 2005 by Stephen Hunter and Karen Dumine both of whom had been working in corporate Estate Agency since 1996 and 1988 respectively.

They decided to join forces and opened an Estate Agency that actually focused on selling property rather than mortgages, overseas homes and insurances! The first office was opened on the busy London Road in Bath - covering Larkhall and the villages beyond.

In 2007 their second branch was opened in Corsham, followed by Devizes, Frome and Tetbury. In 2019 Karen Dumine headed up the new office in Bruton which has gone from strength, covering Bruton, Wincanton, Castle Cary and the surrounding villages. 2024 welcomed another new branch opening in Wotton - Under - Edge in Gloucestershire.

Karen has a wealth of incredible knowledge in the property industry. She has not only helped hundreds of people move in her career but has also been involved in property renovation, holiday lets, short term rentals - she has even written about property and been published in newspapers and magazines.

She is joined in the Bruton Office by Joolz Matthews and Joshua Manuel. Independent financial services are provided by Jeremy Blair and Jo Betts

Hunter French has been operating in the South West for the last 20 years and after noticing the growing popularity in Frome, it felt like natural step to open an office here in 2013. Our office is located the artisan quarter of the town, and we feel very at home on Catherine Hill. We feel strongly that all the hype and publicity around Frome in the last 10 years is well deserved and there is still much more to come. Specialising in town and country properties, we have built up a extensive knowledge of all the areas in Frome and the surrounding area.
