    How we started

    By the early 2000s, after many years working in the property market, Alex Reeves and Sheena Patel had started to feel indignant that both landlords and tenants were getting a raw deal from traditional agents: astronomical charges coupled with terrible service.

    So in 2005 we set up Berkeley: to show that residential property in London, across all price brackets and in all locations, really can be managed cost effectively, proactively and reliably.

    In 2012, Berkeley Way entered a new chapter. After seven exciting years, Sheena decided to leave Berkeley Way to seek out new challenges. Alex and the team remain as passionate and committed as ever to the ideals of efficient, effective and reliable service that inspired us all those years ago.

    The passion that drove us to start our company is what continues to motivate our team today. It's hard wired into the Berkeley Way DNA - it's the way we manage.

    Before we do anything, we make sure we properly understand what you're looking for in a property. It's vital to get it right or we'll all be unhappy throughout your tenancy!

    We charge competitive fees
    We charge you a fair fee for the administration of starting a tenancy - not like some agents who charge almost half a month's rent.

    Our fees are:

    Reference fees: £45.00 per person plus VAT
    One off admin fee: £150.00 per property plus VAT

    We keep your HR department updated with new properties

    We offer an incentive scheme for anyone who can refer other tenants to Berkeley Way.
