    We are proud to be celebrating our 35th birthday since our office opened its doors to the residents of Henleaze and the surrounding areas. During our time on this prominent high street we have seen it transform and we feel it is fair to say that it has never been as busy or popular as it is today.

    Here at CJ Hole Henleaze we feel that our role as an established estate agent on the high street is more than just selling houses, we see ourselves as an important part of the local community. We willingly involve ourselves with a number of local schools providing sponsorship and advertising for fairs and events. We are also part of the Henleaze Business Association which was set up with the main objective to ensure that the businesses in Henleaze work together in order to ensure that Henleaze High Street maintains its reputation of being a desirable place for consumers to spend their time.

    The key to any successful business is its people and our office is no different. Tim Pepper and George Mawer, Branch Manager and Sales Manager respectively are both directors within the office and head up a large sales team. Both Tim and George grew up in the local area and between them and the rest of the sales team have 75 years' experience within Estate Agency and are recognisable figures within the area.

    Our office has itself transformed over the years and we have taken advantage of all the modern technology available to us. All of our properties are displayed on the two plasma screens in the window as well as our window display. All members of staff have modern laptops and telephone equipment which allow them to dial out at a click of a button and also display the details of incoming calls in order for the right member of staff to deal with the enquiry.

    Chris Hill - Managing Director
    Chris Hill has come a long way since his first job in an estate agency at just 16, when he counted tea making and photocopying amongst his top skills. Just eight years later in 1996, he became franchisee of a huge territory of Bristol for CJ Hole, proving that his early ambition to pursue a career in property was well judged. His intuitive business sense and his understanding of how best to run an office allowed Chris to successfully expand and open up two further offices in Bradley Stoke and Bishopston. For Chris, his staff have always been vital to the success of his business. "I've tried to build the business with strong customer service and high quality staff. They are key. I wouldn't do it if I didn't have good staff. We want to do things right. I've always wanted people who are motivated and who deliver good customer service, but they must always want to make sure we're selling." Chris ensures good customer service by training his team to the best of his ability and providing them with independent training from some of the best experts in the business. He does not like to employ 'two-dimensional' salespeople, choosing instead good, local people with knowledge who can sell - an important distinction. He also requires his staff to have a broad knowledge and skill base so that each employee can handle every situation without having to hand over to a colleague. This provides a continuity of service that clients have come to appreciate. As well as holding the MARLA and MNAEA qualifications, Chris took the decision that he and key members of his team would qualify as domestic energy assessors, as a way of offering a better quality of service to clients.     Tim Pepper - Branch Manager/Director
    In an established family suburb such as Henleaze, having a recognisable and much-liked local face heading up an estate agency is key. Tim Pepper, Branch Manager/Director started estate agency in 1997 and has worked for CJ Hole Henleaze since 2003, when he joined as Sales Manager. He became a director of the company in 2006.Tim grew up in Westbury Park - just half a mile up the road - and he has two young children attending local schools. He not only promotes the community to applicants, he lives in it and is a respected part of it, which includes opening fairs and sponsoring charity events. MNAEA-qualified and a trained Domestic Energy Assessor, Tim was appointed Branch Manager just a year after joining the company and has diligently fulfilled his managerial skills via a range of courses, including The Leadership Trust. He has since carefully recruited his present staff with Chris Hill, Managing Director, and has trained them thoroughly in all the core sales skills, such as listening, teamwork and remembering details about both buyers and vendors. Tim's tenacity and drive saw his branch secure top spot amongst a national league of 100 offices for 2009, 2010 and 2011 - an accolade the office had never before achieved.     George Mawer - Sales Manager/Director
    Meeting George Mawer for the first time, he is instantly likeable, chatty and knowledgeable, and you can't help but feel confident in his ability to sell your house and to sell it well. His polished negotiation skills are born from years of listening to and learning from his experienced Branch Manager, Tim Pepper, and, enhanced by his lifetime spent in the locality. His studies in business and economics at City of Bristol College created a useful base from which to build a successful set of skills in estate agency.     Tom joined the Henleaze office in 2013 having spent 2 years at CJ Hole Bishopston. His motivation combined with his local knowledge of two offices has helped him to establish himself within the Senior Sales Negotiator role.       We chose CJ Hole to sell our house after vetting three agents. Despite their valuation of our property being the lowest of the three valuations, and their charges being second cheapest (or second dearest), we decided to go with them for the following reasons. Clearly, Tim Pepper and his team had excellent local knowledge, and came across as a more 'professional team' than the others. Weekly updates, and the briefing of the 'whole team' as to the features and benefits of our property, were elements of their service which we considered key to achieve a sale.
