Having recently celebrated ten years in business in Cleethorpes, Crofts have recently expanded to include a new high street branch in nearby Immingham. The newly refurbished branch forms part of the regeneration of Kennedy Way - Immingham’s main central shopping area, which is also home to several national chains including, B&M, Poundstretcher and Aldi.

It forms part of a £100,000 investment for Crofts, which also sees the Cleethorpes’ branch doubling in size, with the acquisition of the neighbouring former EA Broadburn chemist in St Peter’s Avenue, both branches feature touch-screen technology accessible from the footpath, making it possible to book appointments 24/7 and e-mail property details home outside of branch opening hours.

Explaing the reasons behind the new branch location, Gary Croft said: “I think with the renaissance with Kennedy Way we wanted to be part of it, and we thought Immingham as a town was under-served by estate agents.

“This is the first time a mainstream, bigger, agent has come into the town, I think there is space for it, and there is a good catchment.

“There is also the rental factor to consider in Immingham, for a lot of people looking to come in to the area for work.

“We did our research, we looked into what had sold in the postcodes over the past five years, and I thought we could really get some market share and provide a good service to the town.”

Chloe Sandvig has been appointed branch manager at Immingham, having been with Crofts for five years.

HOW DO CROFTS’ FEES WORK?

One of our highly experienced valuation team will visit your property to provide an appraisal and valuation. The valuation will be based on a number of factors; type and age of the property, comparable properties recently sold or on the market, saleability of the property and location, to name but a few. This information combined with our qualified staffs’ expansive local property knowledge forms the basis of the valuation. As you can see each valuation is unique to every single property, with this factor in mind at Crofts we have opted for a fee scale that works to the same principle with a choice of packages available. You are unique and so is your property so we will propose a sales package tailored to your individual needs.

EXTENDED OPENING TIMES & FLEXIBLE VIEWING SERVICE

During our market research one question that was asked of the general public was: “When would you BE MOST LIKELY TO LOOK FOR A PROPERTY TO PURCHASE” In 9 out of 10 responses the answer was “at the weekend.” When you consider that most people that are in the position to buy property are at work Monday to Friday, we see it as common sense that an estate agent should be open both on Saturday and Sunday. On top of this we have extended our accompanied viewing service to late evenings and weekends to accommodate today’s busy lifestyles, this way making it easier for viewers and - if you are selling - then making sure they see your property first!

PROPERTY PAPERS

We advertise on a regular basis in our local Property Guides which are supplied free of charge every Friday dinnertime with the Grimsby Telegraph and every Thursday with the Cleethorpes Chronicle. Often people will pop out on their lunch break, pick up a Property Guide and create a shortlist of properties to view, but then have to wait until they have finished work before they can book a viewing, unfortunately the estate agents will then be closed, so they have to wait until Saturday. To cater to this need we open late night on Fridays, so when the perfect buyer for your property wants to book a viewing we are here, open and ready.
