    Demand for rental accommodation in Kingston is good, but it is the accurately priced, well presented properties that are letting quickly and attracting good quality tenants. 

    Many applicants have reached a ceiling in terms of what they can afford to pay for accommodation plus living costs, so we are advising landlords to be realistic with the rent as possible. 

    Our experience is that current tenants are keen to renew their tenancies which gives them stability in a time where Brexit is on the horizon. Recently there have been more corporate tenants  looking in the area which is also a positive sign and a great opportunity for Landlords.

      Despite media commentary stating that the market is in decline, the reality is that in Kingston-upon-Thames, this couldn't be further from the truth.

      The Kingston area always attracts considerable interest from buyers moving to our neighbourhood, looking to take advantage of excellent local amenities and transport links whilst families are attracted by superb schooling options. First time buyers are taking advantage of less competition from investors, and are enjoying the opportunity to shop around for the perfect home.

      Of course, with buyers and sellers shortly departing for their holidays the talk soon turns to a potential move for the second half of the year. Summer is great time to have your home for sale to maximise on full exposure. Many buyers will begin their search over the summer and with tablets, laptops and phones all easily to hand whether on a beach in an exotic location or simply while the kids play in the garden its a great time to be "For Sale". With all this activity in the Kingston property market, we are poised for a busy time as we head through the rest of the year.
