The lettings market in Weybridge remains very strong overall and as long as properties are priced and presented accordingly, they are letting.
The lower end of the market remains the strongest with flats and affordable houses performing very well. Mid to upper end of the market has been much tougher over the last year as corporate clients are less plentiful and there is quite a lot of stock around meaning prospective Tenants have quite a lot of choice. However that said, due to the slight uncertain times with Brexit and the snap election, we have seen an increase in people postponing purchasing and renting privately at that sector of the market which has filled the gap.
Spring/Summer is traditionally the busiest time for lettings as many families plan their moves around the school year and tend to want to have moved in by the end of the summer latest, in time for the new school year. We are certainly experiencing the usual influx in enquiries due to this and the market is gaining momentum week on week.
