The Property Ombudsmen provides a free, fair and independent service for dealing with unresolved disputes between sales and letting agents and consumers who are actual or potential buyers or sellers or landlords or tenants of residential property in the UK.

    Office of Fair Trading

    The OFT makes sure that estate agents such as Felicity J Lord act in the best interests of their customers at all times under the terms of the Estate Agents Act, and that both buyers or sellers are treated honestly, fairly and promptly.

We met initially wit the branch manager who valued our property and explained what Felicity J Lord would do for us. Sales particulars were prepared that showed our house very attractively and other members of the team had a quick look round to familiarise themselves with the house.

    We sold our house at a time when the market conditions were difficult but Felicity J Lord used different marketing methods to keep attracting viewings including an open day, newspaper adverts, updating the photos and internet advertising.
