    Stuart and his team at Gorleston Howards are proud to have been part of the local community for many years, supporting their clients through the many changes and competition that come and go in the property market.

    They accredit this success to their local knowledge, over 40 years combined experience and their enthusiasm and drive to exceed their client's expectations. Even through difficult property markets they have successfully achieved the best results for their valued clients helping guide Gorleston and surrounding property market out of the property blues of 2008/9.

    During 2013 they have continued to contradict National property trends by far outselling their competitors, whilst at the same time establishing an upward curve in property sales for the area.     Branch Manager - Stuart Lugo

    Stuart has lived in the local area for many years and started his career in Estate Agency with Howards back in 2004, following a very successful and consistent award winning 'sales' background.

      Stuart now manages the Gorleston office with a very experienced team and with continued enthusiasm, motivation and a hard working approach, Stuart is determined to build upon their strong and great reputation within the industry. Nine years of his career have been spent successfully selling properties within Gorleston and surrounding areas.

    Stuart is passionate about property and extremely focused on providing customers with all the support, advice and guidance they need when moving home.

    Deputy Head of Lettings - Richard Lees

    Having been trained in Accountancy and Office Administration, Richard joined the then Howards Partnership in 1974 to takeover the running of both the Partnership Accounts and the business' Clients Accounts. Within this role, he gained much knowledge of the Estate Agency business in general and, in particular, took on board the requirements applicable to the lettings side of the firm, to ensure full compliance with RICS Client's accounting rules and regulations. He has overseen the many changes in the lettings industry, embracing new legislation and introducing new ways of working to accommodate new and amended legislation and Rent Acts.

    Over the years this has given him a wide and practical knowledge of all aspects of the Lettings Industry. Richard continued in his accountancy role when the firm became a limited company in 1988 and helped steer the firm through the recession of the early 1990's, relinquishing this role when the business came under new ownership in 1994.

    Taking over the lettings side of the business full time, Richard saw the great expansion of the numbers of rental properties handled by the firm, whilst overseeing the training and activities of lettings staff within all Howards Offices. Following the reorganisation and relocation of lettings in 2010, Richard took on the role of Deputy Head of Lettings, personally managing the Gorleston portfolio of properties, whilst giving support the Head of Lettings, and taking on the secondary role of auditing all lettings activities within the firm to ensure the continuation of best practice and compliance.

    Richard is a member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI) and is also a member of the Association of Residential Lettings Agents (MARLA).

    Office Manager - Bobbie O'Sullivan MNAEA
    Bobbie started her varied and interesting career in 1961 as an Opticians receptionist with D.R. Grey in Norwich and in 1964 joined their Instrument Division as secretary to the Managing Director and Sales Manager.

    In 1967 Bobbie moved to London working part-time as a secretary for the Environmental Studies Department at University College London. On returning to Great Yarmouth in 1975, she joined a firm of Solicitors as a receptionist/audio typist until 1978 when she moved to Devon working for the National Farmers Union.

    Returning to Great Yarmouth in 1979, Bobbie secured a position with Howards Estate Agents as a receptionist/negotiator and 36 years later, having seen many changes in the market and technology, continues to enjoy her career as office manager with enthusiasm, motivation and experience and feels that customer care, support and guidance is of the highest importance.

    Bobbie is married with a daughter, stepson, four grandchildren and a great-grandson.

    Senior Sales Negotiator - Amy Grey MNAEA
    Amy decided a career engaging with people would be her vocation and started as an Office Junior for an established independent Estate Agent in 2007, joining Howards as a Senior Negotiator in 2010.

    Amy has developed an enhanced understanding of the business in difficult market conditions with continued enthusiasm and motivation. She now holds a membership with the National Association of Estate Agents to further reinforce her dedication and expertise within the industry and competently displays high levels of customer service when dealing with both Vendors and Applicants on a daily basis.

    Lettings Administrator - Rachel Downes
    Rachel has worked for Howards Residential Lettings since 2001 and has been part-time since 2009. She had previous experience in the property management sector where she has previously worked for a Gas Engineers/Plumbers and Roofing Contractors Company as a Secretary/Personal Assistant.

    Rachel has a good working relationship with both landlords and tenants and is always ready to help and assist in all aspects of the lettings role. Rachel has lived in the Great Yarmouth all her life and is very familiar with the area and can advise prospective tenants and landlords of areas that are suitable for their requirements including local amenities.

    Property Manager - Lauren Loveland MNAEA MARLA
    Lauren joined Howards in 2001, for the first three years working in Sales where she achieved her Membership of National Association of Estate Agency and Customer Service Level 1. Since 2004, Lauren has worked part time in Lettings, is ARLA qualified and achieved Customer Service level 2.

    She enjoys working with both landlords and tenants helping with support, advice and guidance throughout their tenancies.

    Negotiator - Gemma Cook
    After studying at East Norfolk Sixth Form College, Gemma started an apprenticeship in June 2013 at one of our leading offices in Gorleston where the very welcoming and knowledgeable team helped her with training in all aspects of Estate Agency. 2 years on, Gemma says 'I really enjoy my role at Howards as a Sales Negotiator, and am very passionate about my job. I feel I have learnt a very wide variety of things whilst being with the company and can't thank my colleagues enough for the time they have spent with me to achieve what I have already. I am very proud to be a part of such a great team and company, and look forward to my future here at Howards.
