To make it as stress free as possible, we have a brilliant support team in the sales progression department, which is vital to ensuring a sale goes through smoothly. Lichfield is a small town and we regularly bump in to happy vendors and purchasers which makes the job very rewarding.

    Top tip for buyer or seller? Buyers - make sure finances are in order before purchasing a property, and take time to look at plenty of properties, buyers sometimes do not buy want they originally thought they would want to, it's a surprising world.Vendors - Before going on the market, take time to start at your front door, and walk through your home as a purchaser might do, suddenly you will see or smell things that originally you didn't, quite scary but really useful to do and can make the difference to a purchaser viewing your home for the first time.

    What would be your dream home? Do not really have a dream home, just love a happy home, always hope I will be able to travel a lot more when I retire, so maybe a Camper Van could be mine .

    Favourite part of your job? Visiting interesting property, establishing a good relationship with new clients, agreeing a sale that makes the buyer and the seller happy.

    Top tip for buyer or seller? Seller: Presentation is vital! Buyer: Establish a good rapport with the estate agent.

    What would be your dream home? 3 bedroom detached barn with rural views and a 6 car garage in Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Somerset or South Devon.

    Time at John German? I started in lettings with John German over at the Burton Office in 2009 and then moved over to Lichfield Sales in 2014.

    Favourite part of your job? Helping to find first time buyers a house in this fast moving and hectic part of the market, you cannot beat the look on their face when they collect their keys.

    Top tip for buyer or seller? When you start your search for a new property always be open minded as the unexpected may just take you by surprise.

    What would be your dream home? A little cottage by the sea in Polzeath, Cornwall.

    Favourite part of your job? My favourite part of the job is negotiating the sale and the best possible price for our vendors.

    Top tip for buyer or seller? Buyer: In the current market do not hesitate to offer on a property if it's the one for you, demand is high and you may miss out! Seller: Listen to what the market tells you - if you have 5 viewings in the 1st week demand is high, but if you have no interest in a month or so there may be a reason, look at all the angles from marketing to price.

    What would be your dream home? My dream home would be in St Ives, Cornwall overlooking the bay.

    Time at John German? I have worked for John German since March 2014 having worked for Kingston Behague for 5 and half years when JG bought the company.

    Favourite part of your job? My favourite part of the job is negotiating the sale and assisting both the vendors and purchasers in this process. Upon completion, it is great to hand over the keys for their new home.

    Top tip for buyer or seller? My top tip for the Seller would be to present their home in the best possible light, de-clutter if required, the small details work well, for example flowers and pleasant smelling rooms! and if they are doing the viewings, a smile and a welcoming approach always helps. My top tip for buyers would be do the preparation to know what you can afford to pay for your new home. Checking this out with Mortgage/Financial Advisors, (John German have two excellent independent ones!!) can save a lot of disappointment.

    What would be your dream home? My Dream Home is a character property, probably a small cottage with roses around the door set in a lovely coastal location!! Dream on .....
