    Where is your favourite place in Stafford? The Gatehouse theatre in Stafford is a huge part of Stafford's proud Performing Arts history and has been a theatre in my home town all my life! Not only did my daughter recently at 5 years old brave her first ever stage Ballet performance in front of a huge audience there, but I've enjoyed moving and heart-warming plays with my family, been entertained by hilarious Pantomimes with my Grandparents in my teens and laughed uncontrollably with my Husband at Comedians who have come to perform here. The Gatehouse for me is a place that is synonymous with precious and fond memories and its impressive Victorian building stands proud on Eastgate Street just minutes from our John German office, so it's a pleasure to see it every day!

    Best part of your job? I love speaking to people from all walks of life and helping them - whether that's by finding them the perfect house to make a home or by finding them the perfect tenant to rent their home. Every day in lettings is fast paced, exciting and very rewarding! 

    Top tip for a landlord? Letting your property can be a great money earner, both in return and capital investment, however don't underestimate the work which goes into letting and managing a property. When choosing a letting agent look for an agent who has professional qualifications and works to a code of practice (ARLA, RICs, NAEA). Your investment is more likely to be in safe hands - which should in the long run save you your valuable time and money. 

    What would be your dream home? A modern and unique new build or conversion with floor-to-ceiling windows and open plan living. As long as my family can come with me though, as they make the dream a home.

    Time at John German? I joined John German Estate Agents in 2011 and have worked for both the Lettings and Sales departments. 

    Favourite part of your job? I enjoy all aspects of letting a property. It's a fast-paced job which provides me with a great feeling of accomplishment when I find the perfect tenant for a happy landlord. Another aspect of the job I enjoy is building great relationships with our landlords and tenants, it feels good when they come back to us time and time again to re-let their properties or when they are looking for a new home.

    What would be your dream home? My dream home would be a period property with plenty of old features, open fires and somewhere to put a very big Christmas tree.

      Favourite part of the job? People and houses are infinitely different and I like meeting and seeing lots of both all in a day. 

      T op tip for buyer or seller? I believe good natural light is one of the most important qualities to a home so I would recommend finding the compass app on your phone and using it during your viewings to see what time of day the sunlight will be in each room. When selling it's also useful for us to know which way your property faces so that the front elevation can be photographed at the right time to get the best image possible. 

      What would be your dream home? Eco lodge by a lake, the living areas would face South West.
