Lodge and Thomas is one of the oldest established firms of chartered surveyors in Cornwall, but we offer an up-to-date service in respect of all possible property and auctioneering requirements.
Our Truro office is conveniently located in the city centre at 58 Lemon Street with a sub office in Penzance. In addition livestock markets are held weekly on a Wednesday in Truro. Truro is one of the foremost livestock centres in the west country.
Due to the wide range of expertise available in the firm, Lodge & Thomas are well able to advise on any aspect of property, whether carrying out valuations for marketing, taxation, matrimonial, purchase etc.; Surveying for purchasers (homebuyers and building surveys) specialist agricultural work (tenant right, schedules of dilapidations, milk quota - sales, leasing and compensation; compulsory purchase or other compensation eg. telecommunication masts, pipelines, cables, roads. Carrying out lease renewal, rent review and rating negotiation we can offer an up-to-date and efficient service at reasonable cost.
Apart from our regular livestock markets we hold frequent auctions of live and deadstock, specialist sales of builders, nursery and bankrupt stock; furniture, fine arts and chattels to name but a few.
