Although originally established in 1947, Mansell McTaggart was subsequently bought by two of the current Directors in 1989 and initially successfully operated as a one-office branch working out of Burgess Hill. The company rapidly moved forward and now boasts 16 high-profile offices in Sussex, offering unrivalled levels of quality, service and value, being members of the Guild of Professional Estate Agents which makes us part of a network of 700 of the best independently owned agencies in the country. The network includes our National property centre at 119 Park Lane, Mayfair, London, W1. and about 50 associates offices across London and works as a referral network ideal for those relocating with jobs around the UK and overseas.
Jaime Wallden opened our Haywards Heath office in May 1992 and has successfully run the office ever since with his long standing team of staff who have helped us build a reputation for getting the job done at the best price. Our team is on hand 7 days a week and we do not employ inexperienced weekend staff, all of which have a good knowledge of the homes on offer and the owners circumstances. 2012 was our best year ever and we achieved the asking price on just under half the homes we sold which is a result of a broad knowledge and correct pricing. 2013
We only specialise in selling residential property and do not try and combine Lettings, Financial Services and other associated parts of the industry, a weakness most of our competitors have. We work closely with other professionals in the industry so when we recommend a colleague you can be assured that like us they have an in depth knowledge of their profession.
Many agents have come and gone in the town and many more will open bringing their gimmicks and promises but we have continued to expand and have always lead the way in presenting properties in the best way possible. This success has only been accomplished by have a true understanding of buyer or sellers needs and trying to remain one step ahead. Our advice on value and making offers has always and will remain realistic.
Our marketing package is the broadest available, our brochures are the best and free of charge, our adverts are extensive in both local papers, we advertise regionally in Sussex Life and other papers across the county and we have our own monthly magazine. We are represented on all the major portals and have our own APP (visit the APP store). All 16 of our offices are located in prime High Street locations and are linked by one very large internet linked database giving every office the ability to match our available homes with every buyer at the click of a button.
If you instruct us to sell your home our fees are always competitive and you will not be tied down to a restrictive period of sole agency. We just ask for 14 days notice if you wish to move agencies rather than hiding behind a long fixed period which could be between 8 & 24 weeks. We do not charge a registration fee or withdrawal fee, our service is strictly on a No Sale No Fee basis. We therefore only work on results.
