    Tony Perriam

    Managing Partner

    A qualified chartered surveyor, Tony was a founding shareholder and Head of Residential Sales at Rettie & Co from 1996 before becoming Managing Partner on the formation of Rettie Borders LLP in Melrose in 2013. After graduating from St Andrews University, Tony completed an Army short service commission with the Black Watch before gaining an MBA at the University of Edinburgh. His early working career also included time at industrial auctioneers Ryden Henry Butcher, prior to running the hotels division of Christie & Co.'s Edinburgh office in the mid 1990's.

    Samantha Easson

    Sales Negotiator

    Having grown up and been educated in Ravelston in Edinburgh, Sam initially gained experience with her family building firm before moving on to a leading insurance company in the City. She then worked in the retail sector in both Exeter and Inverness. In 2003 Sam moved to the Scottish Borders to bring up her three young children, joining the Melrose office in 2011 and immediately proving to be a valuable member of the team through her local knowledge and wide ranging business and social contacts.

    Bev Diamond

    Sales Negotiator

    Bev joined Rettie Borders LLP in May 2015 as a Sales Negotiator. Originally from the area, Bev moved with her family to Buckinghamshire in her early years. After spending 10 years of her career in the life assurance & pensions industry, she then took a break to raise her family. Returning to the Borders in 2006, Bev ran her own health shop in Kelso for seven years before joining the family retail bicycle business where she launched their new website and ran social media. Thereafter, she worked at McEwan Fraser Legal as a Sales Negotiator before joining the Melrose team.

    Donald Young

    Sales Consultant

    Donald joined Rettie & Co in June 2015. Having graduated in 2014 with an MA in Art History from the University of Aberdeen, Donald then spent time in Edinburgh gaining experience in many different areas of property with several leading property firms including Strutt & Parker, Knight Frank and Savills, as well as Rettie & Co's lettings office, before joining the Melrose office. Donald is responsible for the marketing of new properties, taking over from the point of instruction and launching onto the open market.

    Olivia is the newest member of the Melrose team, having joined in June 2017. As our Sales and Marketing Assistant, Olivia is responsible for arranging viewings and liaising with sellers and buyers. Having previously worked in a Borders-based firm of Solicitors and Estate Agents, Olivia has developed good communication skills and close attention to detail and is a friendly, enthusiastic member of the team.
