Who we areWe are a well-known, bespoke, female operated, Multi-Award-Winning reputable agency, specialising in 'Lettings Only' where we opened our doors in 2010 and have over 70 year's collective experience within the industry therefore having extensive knowledge of the Lettings market.
Since opening we have found that the majority of our new business comes through word-of-mouth due to the high level of service we offer as well as repeat business . We believe in building a good reputation and we feel that our professionalism, vast understanding and efficiency makes us a first-class agent who will provide the best possible service. We also believe that we stand out from our competitors being that we only specialise in Residential Lettings unlike most agents that combine Estate Agency (Sales) and Lettings. Where this focus is on 'Lettings Only' we are able to give 100% dedication to the Property, Landlord and Tenant. We treat each property as if it were our own regardless of whether the Landlord is a multiple investor Landlord or a one off Landlord who is leaving their home for a limited period; we will give the same service no matter the circumstances, size or rental value.
As well as finding the best possible tenants suitable for your property, we ensure that Landlords are protected against the 300 + pieces of legislation of which they need to conform to, from pre tenancy to the end of tenancy. Ultimately safeguarding landlords asset(s) as well as saving fines of up to £150,000 or more.

We are confident that our rates will beat those local competitors but at the same time offer an outstanding and unbeatable service to both Tenant and Landlord.
SageWard Lettings is a member of TPO (The Property Ombudsman) which is a redress scheme where a Code of Conduct is required to be adhered to in order to trade within the Lettings Industry. Alongside this we are also a member of CMP (Client Money Protect) which ensures that both Landlord and Tenants monies are protected. SageWard Lettings are also a member of 'Guild of Letting and Management' which offers legal advice, consultancy, training and provides the latest information and up-to-date industry legislation to SageWard Lettings. We have a prominent office in the centre of Hertford Town and cover all surrounding areas from Welwyn/Stevenage through to Harlow, Cheshunt/Hoddesdon through to Buntingford and all areas in-between.

Our AwardsWe pride ourselves on our high level of customer services and are proud Triple Award Winners of the ESTAS (Estate and Letting Award), Gold Award for Best Lettings Agent in our County (Hertfordshire). The ESTAS are the only recognised Sales and Letting Awards in the UK where the result is determined by customer feedback and research and is hosted by Phil Spencer from 'Location Location'.
We have also won the 'British Property Award' for Best Letting Agent in Hertford for three years running 2023- 2024 , 2022-2023 & 2021-2022 which we are extremely proud of.
SageWard is therefore very grateful and thankful to its Landlords and Tenants who nominated and gave feedback in order for us to win these prestigious Gold Awards for Best Letting Agent in our region and to be ranked 4th in the Country.
