When we initially decided to let the flat in 2009 we were very nervous about finding an agent and we felt sure that we would be ripped off for management fees! I can't remember exactly what it was that you said or did when we first met, but we immediately felt that we could trust you and Squires' fees were slightly lower than the other agents in Finchley.

You and your team found us a good tenant within a couple of weeks, arranged for carpet cleaning and rent insurance. You sent us text messages updating us on progress every day, which was invaluable given that we were on the road cycling across Europe.

When we decided to sell the flat and move to Belfast last summer, we were still living in Ecuador and we had only been back to the flat once since 2009. We had never sold a property before and you really helped us understand the process, much more than our solicitor did. You put the property on the market whilst the last tenant was still renting it and you showed it to about 20 prospective buyers before we returned to the UK.

You got us several good offers close to the asking price and we agreed a sale within a few weeks. Unfortunately the sale was slow due to complications with the freehold/leasehold but you worked hard throughout to ensure that all parties were communicating properly. Everything was done and dusted just a few weeks before Christmas.

We feel that we received excellent value for money and support from you and would certainly recommend you to anyone renting or selling in the area.
