London, with an overall average price of £706,159 was more expensive than nearby South East (£468,712), East of England (£394,734) and East Midlands (£262,805). The priciest area within London was Central London (£1,599,745) and the least expensive was East London (£521,732).
During the last year, sold prices in London were 3% down on the previous year and 5% up on 2021 when the average house price was £671,848.
