Moray, with an overall average price of £212,051, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Orkney (£202,309), but was more expensive than Western Isles (£172,832) and cheaper than Highland (£228,780). The priciest area within Moray was Findhorn (£480,146) and the least expensive was Dufftown (£159,521).
During the last year, sold prices in Moray were 4% up on the previous year and 62% down on 2008 when the average house price was £556,980.
