Moray, with an overall average price of £210,761, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Orkney (£201,379), but was more expensive than Western Isles (£164,349) and cheaper than Highland (£230,031). The priciest area within Moray was Aberlour (£238,481) and the least expensive was Lhanbryde (£145,625).
During the last year, sold prices in Moray were similar to the previous year and 62% down on 2008 when the average house price was £556,980.
