West Midlands, with an overall average price of £279,861 was more expensive than nearby East Midlands (£264,125) and North West (£241,880), but was cheaper than South West (£366,018). The priciest area within West Midlands was Warwickshire (£349,593) and the least expensive was Staffordshire (£240,789).
During the last year, sold prices in West Midlands were similar to the previous year and 4% up on 2021 when the average house price was £269,664.
