Last year most property sales in Ardingly involved detached properties which sold for on average £648,000. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £385,000, while flats fetched £332,500.
Ardingly, with an overall average price of £487,273, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Lindfield (£481,328), but was more expensive than Haywards Heath (£401,492) and cheaper than Balcombe (£545,001).
During the last year, sold prices in Ardingly were 9% up on the previous year and similar to 2014 when the average house price was £478,656.
