Last year most property sales in Bakersfield involved detached properties which sold for on average £184,587. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £129,947, while terraced properties fetched £110,143.
Bakersfield, with an overall average price of £152,408, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Carlton (£148,091), but was more expensive than Colwick (£129,501) and Sneinton (£109,754).
During the last year, sold prices in Bakersfield were 8% up on the previous year and 8% up on 2014 when the average house price was £141,038.
