The majority of sales in Banks during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £145,227. Detached properties sold for an average of £238,859, with flats fetching £83,650.
Banks, with an overall average price of £167,615, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Crossens (£170,498), but was cheaper than Churchtown (£189,982) and Southport (£188,899).
Overall sold prices in Banks over the last year were 18% down on the previous year and 15% down on the 2009 level of £197,221.
