Last year most property sales in Caerleon involved detached properties which sold for on average £303,110. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £179,483, while terraced properties fetched £168,985.
Caerleon, with an overall average price of £224,627 was more expensive than nearby Christchurch (£179,718), St. Julians (£138,241) and Beechwood (£166,309).
During the last year, sold prices in Caerleon were 17% up on the previous year and similar to 2008 when the average house price was £221,575.
