Last year most property sales in Caerleon involved terraced properties which sold for on average £145,876. Detached properties sold for an average price of £241,935, while semi-detached properties fetched £159,409.
Caerleon, with an overall average price of £177,001, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Christchurch (£178,339) and Catsash (£185,000), but was more expensive than St. Julians (£125,161).
During the last year, sold prices in Caerleon were 9% up on the previous year and 10% down on 2008 when the average house price was £196,309.
