Most of the sales in Cambridge over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £527,364. Flats had an average sold price of £348,387 and semi-detached properties averaged at £548,653.
Cambridge, with an overall average price of £512,617 was more expensive than nearby Cherry Hinton (£361,386), but was cheaper than Trumpington (£619,451) and Grantchester (£932,000).
In the past year house prices in Cambridge were 7% up on the year before and 8% up on 2015 when they averaged at £473,390.
