Most of the sales in Charlesworth over the past year were terraced properties which on average sold for £159,078. Flats had an average sold price of £139,413 and detached properties averaged at £435,983.
Charlesworth, with an overall average price of £208,246 was more expensive than nearby Glossop (£179,205) and Hadfield (£145,661), but was cheaper than Padfield (£240,382).
In the past year house prices in Charlesworth were 19% up on the year before and 15% down on 2010 when they averaged at £243,674.
