Last year most property sales in Coedkernew involved terraced properties which sold for on average £132,433. Detached properties sold for an average price of £214,941, while semi-detached properties fetched £177,903.
Coedkernew, with an overall average price of £171,310, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby St. Brides Wentlooge (£164,167), but was cheaper than Duffryn (£186,147) and Rhiwderyn (£188,800).
During the last year, sold prices in Coedkernew were 5% down on the previous year and similar to 2011 when the average house price was £169,523.
