Last year most property sales in Colwyn Bay involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £144,684. Detached properties sold for an average price of £229,089, while flats fetched £101,413.
Colwyn Bay, with an overall average price of £157,085, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Old Colwyn (£152,404), but was cheaper than Rhos-On-Sea (£173,402) and Rhos On Sea (£170,161).
During the last year, sold prices in Colwyn Bay were similar to the previous year and 7% down on 2007 when the average house price was £169,101.
