Cwmcarvan, with an overall average price of £360,000, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Trellech (£359,350), but was cheaper than Llanishen (£396,250) and Whitebrook (£675,000).
During the last year, sold prices in Cwmcarvan were 47% down on the previous year and 17% down on 2008 when the average house price was £435,000.
