Most of the sales in Darfield over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £106,832. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £76,209 and detached properties averaged at £182,454.
Darfield, with an overall average price of £118,351, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Wombwell (£123,197), but was more expensive than Bolton-Upon-Dearne (£108,144) and cheaper than Wath-Upon-Dearne (£140,924).
In the past year house prices in Darfield were similar to the year before and 3% up on 2006 when they averaged at £115,280.
