Last year most property sales in Disley involved detached properties which sold for on average £429,000. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £230,769, while terraced properties fetched £160,997.
Disley, with an overall average price of £276,575, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby High Lane (£264,143), but was cheaper than Pott Shrigley (£574,000) and Poynton (£306,137).
During the last year, sold prices in Disley were 3% down on the previous year and 6% down on 2007 when the average house price was £293,078.
