Last year most property sales in Enfield involved flats which sold for on average £255,470. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £369,880, while semi-detached properties fetched £540,888.
Enfield, with an overall average price of £378,078 was cheaper than nearby Haringey (£526,803), Barnet (£571,554) and Islington (£721,127). The priciest area within Enfield was Hadley Wood (£1,017,255) and the least expensive was Enfield Lock (£244,201).
During the last year, sold prices in Enfield were 11% up on the previous year and 29% up on 2012 when the average house price was £293,807.
