Last year most property sales in Glynneath involved terraced properties which sold for on average £66,122. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £91,700, while detached properties fetched £197,500.
Glynneath, with an overall average price of £95,669, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Seven Sisters (£97,998), but was cheaper than Cwmgwrach (£104,542) and Resolven (£107,500).
During the last year, sold prices in Glynneath were similar to the previous year and 13% down on 2007 when the average house price was £110,433.
