Most of the sales in Goostrey over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £339,977. Semi-detached properties had an average sold price of £272,218 and terraced properties averaged at £275,250.
Goostrey, with an overall average price of £304,634 was more expensive than nearby Holmes Chapel (£252,012), but was cheaper than Lower Peover (£679,643) and Chelford (£328,601).
In the past year house prices in Goostrey were 27% down on the year before and 21% down on 2007 when they averaged at £386,374.
