The majority of sales in Great Wakering during the last year were semi-detached properties, selling for an average price of £267,645. Terraced properties sold for an average of £250,692, with detached properties fetching £350,915.
Great Wakering, with an overall average price of £268,132 was more expensive than nearby Southchurch (£216,401), but was cheaper than Shoeburyness (£284,845) and Thorpe Bay (£451,701).
Overall sold prices in Great Wakering over the last year were 3% down on the previous year and 25% up on the 2007 level of £214,857.
