Most of the sales in Grenoside over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £181,786. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £155,458 and detached properties averaged at £291,042.
Grenoside, with an overall average price of £197,897 was more expensive than nearby Ecclesfield (£146,817), Chapeltown (£163,739) and Sheffield Lane Top (£106,681).
In the past year house prices in Grenoside were 7% down on the year before and similar to 2008 when they averaged at £202,364.
