Halsall, with an overall average price of £297,006, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Aughton (£301,292), but was more expensive than Scarisbrick (£269,805) and Ormskirk (£224,938).
In the past year house prices in Halsall were 4% up on the year before and 14% down on 2008 when they averaged at £345,250.
