Most of the sales in Halton over the past year were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £130,511. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £92,419 and detached properties averaged at £244,000.
Halton, with an overall average price of £126,030, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Runcorn (£131,524), but was cheaper than Sandymoor (£258,205) and Daresbury (£418,988).
In the past year house prices in Halton were 9% down on the year before and 23% down on 2013 when they averaged at £163,120.
