Last year most property sales in Hamilton involved detached properties which sold for on average £278,074. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £167,010, while semi-detached properties fetched £172,687.
Hamilton, with an overall average price of £191,968, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Thurnby (£196,962), but was more expensive than Thurmaston (£156,325) and cheaper than Scraptoft (£214,005).
During the last year, sold prices in Hamilton were 3% down on the previous year and 4% up on 2012 when the average house price was £185,307.
