The majority of sales in Harwell during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £501,833. Terraced properties sold for an average of £270,136, with semi-detached properties fetching £329,286.
Harwell, with an overall average price of £389,118 was more expensive than nearby Chilton (£352,769) and Didcot (£307,962), but was cheaper than East Hendred (£506,000).
Overall sold prices in Harwell over the last year were 5% up on the previous year and similar to the 2008 level of £396,291.
