Last year most property sales in Haydon Bridge involved semi-detached properties which sold for on average £191,045. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £98,071, while detached properties fetched £227,750.
Haydon Bridge, with an overall average price of £166,074 was more expensive than nearby Haltwhistle (£132,684), but was cheaper than Allendale (£220,472) and Hexham (£267,753).
During the last year, sold prices in Haydon Bridge were 8% down on the previous year and 25% down on 2009 when the average house price was £221,062.
