Highclere, with an overall average price of £607,932 was more expensive than nearby Newbury (£333,353), Woolton Hill (£569,937) and Burghclere (£478,845).
During the last year, sold prices in Highclere were 19% down on the previous year and 43% down on 2014 when the average house price was £1,058,000.
There were only 8 properties sold in the last year, therefore, the average prices may only reflect the mix of properties sold, rather than changes in the local market itself.
