The majority of sales in Llangollen during the last year were terraced properties, selling for an average price of £122,427. Detached properties sold for an average of £374,318, with semi-detached properties fetching £181,386.
Llangollen, with an overall average price of £201,768, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Llandegla (£204,238), but was more expensive than Carrog (£183,000) and cheaper than Bryneglwys (£295,000).
Overall sold prices in Llangollen over the last year were 3% up on the previous year and similar to the 2008 level of £204,983.
