Most of the sales in Marple over the past year were detached properties which on average sold for £375,015. Terraced properties had an average sold price of £201,014 and semi-detached properties averaged at £268,183.
Marple, with an overall average price of £269,983 was more expensive than nearby Romiley (£226,676) and Hazel Grove (£236,102), but was cheaper than Marple Bridge (£361,172).
In the past year house prices in Marple were 6% up on the year before and 13% up on 2014 when they averaged at £239,430.
