Last year most property sales in New Quay involved terraced properties which sold for on average £266,413. Detached properties sold for an average price of £210,444, while semi-detached properties fetched £199,500.
New Quay, with an overall average price of £232,790, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Penbryn (£222,800) and Aberaeron (£230,271), but was more expensive than Llanarth (£171,917).
During the last year, sold prices in New Quay were 3% down on the previous year and 4% down on 2007 when the average house price was £241,236.
