Last year most property sales in New Quay involved terraced properties which sold for on average £274,786. Detached properties sold for an average price of £328,000, while semi-detached properties fetched £185,333.
New Quay, with an overall average price of £261,853 was more expensive than nearby Llanarth (£166,667), Penbryn (£214,144) and Aberaeron (£207,113).
During the last year, sold prices in New Quay were 19% up on the previous year and 9% up on 2007 when the average house price was £241,236.
